Russian Agricultural Bank (RusAg, the Bank) has come first in two of eight nominations at the XVIII annual national contest “Dealer of the Year” (The Best Dealer & Desk Awards), organised by the Moscow Interbank Currency Association and the Commonwealth of Financial Market Professionals. In another nomination the Bank took second place.
According to the results of voting RusAg took first place in the nomination “Best Banknote Desk of 2019”.
In the “Best Banknote Dealer of 2019” nomination, two representatives of Russian Agricultural Bank took prizes at once. The competition jury recognized Svetlana Miroshnichenko, Deputy Head of Trading Operations in Financial Markets Division of RusAg (she became the winner of the “Best Banknote Dealer in 2019” nomination), as well as Viktor Shetzel, Principal Specialist of Banknote Operations and Precious Metals Trading Division. He finished second in the same category.
Yulia Ershova, Executive Director of the Financial Markets Operations Department at RusAg took the second place in the nomination “Best Financial Institutions Manager in 2019”.
“This competition is a landmark event in the life of the interbank community and provides an objective assessment of the work of banks, since professional traders who are direct participants in financial markets take part in voting for the winners. According to the results of the competitive survey “Dealer and Desk of the Year 2019”, Russian Agricultural Bank team entered the number of laureates in three nominations at once, and won in two nominations. This is evidence of the recognition of our success and professional achievements by the Russian banking community in 2019,” said Sergey Fetisov, Director of the Financial Markets Operations Department at RusAg.
On 14 August 2020, Moscow hosted the awarding ceremony for the Best Dealers of the Year – “The Best Dealer & Desk Awards”. The national contest “Dealer of the Year” has been held for the 18th time and is one of the most authoritative among professional participants in the Russian financial market.
The best specialists of the Russian financial market in eight nominations were announced at the ceremony: “Best Foreign Exchange Dealer” and “Best Foreign Exchange Desk”, “Best Banknote Desk” and “Best Banknote Dealer”, “Best Money Dealer” and “Best Money Desk”, “Best Derivatives Dealer” and “Best Derivatives Market Desk”, as well as “Best Financial Institutions Manager”.
