Russian Agricultural Bank issued over RUB 1.2 trillion to agribusiness since the beginning of the year

Russian Agricultural Bank (RusAg, the Bank) provides financial support to agricultural sector in full in a timely manner: since the beginning of 2022, the volume of loans exceeded RUB 1.2 trillion. Almost half of these funds provided at a preferential rate. According to Boris Listov, Chairman of the Management Board of Russian Agricultural Bank, the Bank increased concessional lending by 23%, as compared to the last year, and issued RUB 513 billion.

In 2022, Russian Agricultural Bank provided financing to agribusiness for RUB 958 billion, a growth by 3.4% compared to the same period of 2021. Of these, RUB 356 billion, or 37.2%, were received by borrowers at a preferential rate. During the same period, the number of export-oriented agricultural companies serviced by the Bank increased by 16% to 1,621.
